We met during COVID in Melbourne *gasp*

Who meets anyone new during COVID, right? THESE TWO! 

 

I was studying for my masters, as was Alejo; We lived within the 5km radius bubble, studying in the same university, paths not crossing…how can a small city feel so big? One may or may not believe in destiny or serendipity, but I guess we were just meant to meet at that specific point of our lives that led us here. 

 

We have both shared a fondness for secret handshakes and love for good food and libation, with Alejo being the better cook (specialising in boiled eggs haha) and Abie, well, the better dishwasher. Five years has gone so fast that we have apparently started morphing into each other, people saying Alejo starting to look more filo and me looking latina (eeeeey, where my filo friends at? Haha! ). Alejo’s go-to comfort food is bulalo, meanwhile I’ve been obsessed with mondongo!

 

We’ve enjoyed this roller-coaster adventure thus far, but, we know that this is only the beginning. Together with our furbabies, Skye and Churro and with the love and support of our treasured family and friends, we look forward to our next adventure!
